Tapioca Starch is a white and fine powdery derived by wet extraction from the pulped roots of tapioca tubers. Tapioca Starch is widely used in both food and non food industries. In the food industry, the basic products derived from tapioca starch are glucose, dextrose, high fructose as well as other sweeteners. With similar sweetening base, tapioca starch can also be processed into a kind of food seasoning products in flake – like or crystallized form called monosodium glutamate. Besides, many other food additive and derivative products are also produced with the mix or total use of tapioca starch such as noodles, sago pearls, custard, gravies, cream, sauces, food mass binder, soup thickeners, etc.
